Crush Salon

So disappointed with my partial highlight in this salon. My hair was supposed to get a silver-ashy highlight but I came back with the same hair color that I entered the salon. My hair is partially gray so it might need more professional work to get it colored, but still no reason to use more color and have me pay $200 for a $170 work. You tell me if you can see one highlight on this hair:

I was just at Crush Salon earlier this week and had a wonderful experience! I had been here previously and have been serviced by Jasmine, Ruth, and a couple more stylists who all have done such an incredible job. They only have the best service and best stylist here! This week I booked with Emilia for a highlight. My intentions were to go lighter but Emilia did a test strand and we both saw my hair was definitely not strong enough. Thankfully she was able to give me the best advice for hair health and I decided to go back to my roots. I loved it and felt 100x more confident leaving the salon! Crush Salon is definitely the place to go for a fabulous experience! All the stylist I have been with are top tier.

READ*** Please don't book with Ruth. I booked an appointment over the phone for a wash & straightening treatment like I always do. I've been to 3 other stylists here and they all deliver great results for my curly hair. However, this time they were both booked so the owner recommended Ruth & I figured since I've been going to the salon for a while now that most of their stylist are qualified and skilled. While Ruth is doing my hair she says that she does not have time to straighten my hair because I did not book that service..... I told her I always get the same service regularly and that I did, in fact book a straightening service. Who gets their curly hair just blow dried when they want it silk straight? She spent a whole hour blow drying my hair only for it to look frizzy, dry and still curly in some areas....Ruth needs to managed her time better because she definitely could of flat ironed my hair in an hour and a half time frame. Honestly, I could of done far better job myself! I told her I would fix my hair myself at home and got up from my seat. I went to the front desk and asked the receptionist if she could confirm the appointment that I booked. According to the notes, I booked a wash & straightening service which is exactly what I told Ruth! Apparently the receptionist said Ruth did not see the notes... why did she not go check the notes right after I had said something? How was this missed? She obviously did not know how to manage my hair and thought it would be okay to not finish it? The fact that Nobody offered to make up for my disappointment or to fix the mistake or miscommunication is very unprofessional and shows lack empathy. Crush salon needs to reevaluate who they hire - or provide essential training. Please don't let just anybody touch your hair.

My visit to Crush Salon was a delightful experience from start to finish. The stylists were not only highly skilled but also genuinely passionate about their craft. They took the time to listen to my hair concerns and provided valuable recommendations. The haircut I received was precisely what I had envisioned, and the stylist's attention to detail was impressive. The salon itself was modern and clean, making it a pleasant environment to relax and enjoy the pampering. I left feeling rejuvenated and with a newfound confidence in my hair. Crush Salon is truly a gem in the city!

Marisa is awesome! Before I came to Crush, I had my hair botched by a different salon, which left a horrible taste in my mouth. I called a couple of different places up to fix it and this was the only one that seemed to really want to understand my issues before quoting me a price. Off the bat, they offered a consultation where I met with Marisa, who was fantastic at understanding what I was looking for. She was also very clear about what she could do and how much it would cost. This was a completely different experience than the first establishment. She gave me the style I was looking for and I love it! I appreciate that she also explained what she was doing as she was working on my hair. It really helped me alleviate any worries I had from my prior experience. Thank you Marisa and Crush!

I have been going to Nancy for a long time. She has a lot of experience in highlights, coloring, balayage and more. She is attentive and asks your opinion on how you would like your hair before she starts. She did an incredible job with my hair. I am satisfied and happy with the outcome. I highly recommend going to her and to Crush salon. Everyone there is so welcoming and knows what they are doing. You won't be disappointed.

I called in yesterday to schedule an appointment for today since I had plans with my daughter. They told me they booked me for today at 10:30 am. with someone named Amelia. I came in at 10:20 am. and checked in with the receptionist. She said okay and said she would text Amelia. I then waited inside....for over 50 minutes. Around 50 minutes later, I asked when I would be seen and that's when she told me that I was not on the schedule and that for some reason there was another person with my same name scheduled for the following day at 10:30 am. So I wasted an hour of my day and was not able to get my hair done in the end because they were fully booked. It's not a very good first impression. The ladies did seem nice, but I don't think I will be back. The lack of professionalism and regard for my time was enough to make me not want to try again.
